Incredible technology allows our physicians to perform diagnostic tests and procedures - and even intervene in cases of vascular and cardiac disease.
Through our fully-integrated Cardiac catheterization service, we are able to check the heart and coronary arteries - to determine if a patient has disease in the coronary arteries, and if so, to pinpoint the size and location of any disease. In addition to cardiac catheterization, Thomas also provides therapeutic intervention to treat vascular disorders in a minimally invasive manner, including Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
Thomas Memorial Hospital provides a range of diagnostic tests and procedures, all with highly trained cardiologists who specialize in diagnosing and treating Peripheral Arterial Disease. Services at Thomas include cardiac catheterization, arteriograms, peripheral angioplasty and stenting. In addition, our Cath Lab is used for permanent pacemaker and implantable defibrillator placement.
