Emergency Department
On Call for our Community - 24 hours a day
No matter what the hour, no matter what the emergency, we stand ready to help our community with our Level 2, 30-bed Emergency Department. Our department is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and specially trained nurses who provide life-saving services.
Physician specialists who are on-call include family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, plastic & reconstructive surgery, hand surgery and ophthalmology.
A wireless bedside registration system is used to increase efficiency and convenience for our patients. It allows us to provide patient privacy, reduce waiting time and speed the processing of important patient chart information.
The Emergency Department physicians utilize a computerized software system designed to provide detailed and complete aftercare instructions. The discharge instructions are reviewed with the patient (and/or family) to ensure understanding. All patients receive a follow-up referral for continuance of care.
