Wound Care Center A Healing Solution for Slow-Healing Wounds
Every year, chronic wounds, caused by diabetes, poor circulation, pressure, or other conditions, keep three to four million Americans from doing the things they love to do. But the Wound Care Center at Thomas Memorial Hospital can help.
Our team of doctors and nurses is dedicated to treating wounds, including many that have resisted healing after months and even years of traditional treatment. In fact, the Wound Care Center program helps many patients recover in just a few weeks.
We routinely treat wounds caused by diabetes, venous stasis, pressure, ischemia, collagen vascular disease, and trauma (such as burns and insect bites). We are proud to have a 92.2% positive healing outcome on all wounds presented.
The Wound Care Center works with your personal doctor, keeping him or her updated on your progress. For more information, call the Thomas Wound Care Center at (304) 766-5960.
